COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Teaching Secondary School Mathematics 2 course, TSSM2, is intended to emphasize the content methodology for teaching specific problem topics in the C-SEC and CAPE syllabuses. These include: Transformational Geometry, Euclidean geometry, Vectors, Three dimensional geometry, etc. Emphasis will be placed on conceptual understanding of the fundamental topics in C-SEC mathematics content as a precursor to transitioning to learning topics at the CAPE level. Emphasis will be placed on mathematics language, conventions, presentation, and common conceptual and algorithmic errors, difficulties, and remedial strategies.
