The purpose of this CSEC Math Optional  Course

The purpose of this CSEC Math Optional  Course is to help students master the content needed for the following sections of the CSEC Math Exam: Algebra, Relations, Functions and Graphs, Trigonometry and Matrices. The students will become more confident in their ability to work with mathematical concepts and relationships. They will learn how to think systematically and use the precise logic required for mathematical problem solving.

This course builds on the student’s understanding of computation, number theory, basic algebraic and geometrical concepts needed for problem solving. Students will learn to express real-world problems in algebraic sentences in order to find solutions.
